In February, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) opened a
credit line of USD 3 mln which was again directed at financing of small
and medium-sized business.
On 17 March, an agreement on the implementation of “Letter of
Credit Support Project” – USD 2 mln was signed between TBC Bank and
EBRD. The project was supporting development of commerce and
establishment of new commercial contacts in Georgia.
On 16 April, the German Investment and Development Company’s
(DEG) credit line – 3 mln German Mark was opened, which was spent on
development of small and medium business.
