TBC BANK WAS AWARDED AT “EUROMARKET-2002” FORUM

On 15-17, 2002 Euromarket Business Forum-2002 was held in Brussels. At this forum TBC Bank was awarded for “Special Achievements in the Development of Business and Management.“

The noted business-forum is organized by the European Marketing Research Center (EMRC) which was established in 1992 in Belgium. Twice a year in Belgium EMRC organizes Euromarket business-forum.

Aim and mission of the European Marketing Research Center is promotion of development of economic and commercial relationships among the world’s business groups, in particular, European Union member countries.

Theme of the Euromarket forum held in Brussels on 15-17 December, 2002 was “Promotion of Private Sector and Investment Climate in the Countries of Transition Economy.”

Award Committee of the forum, together with other world companies, studied contribution made by Georgian banks to the development of private sector and investment climate in Georgia. As a result, the Committee awarded TBC the Euromarket Forum Prize for “Special Achievements in the Development of Business and Management.”

Major criteria for the evaluation of companies at the forum were their compliance with international business and management standards as well as development of business relationships at the regional and international level. Prize-winners are selected based on recommendations provided by EMRC representatives from various countries in the world.
