• The per-transaction limit for contactless card payments without PIN verification is no more than 100 GEL; PIN verification is required for payments over 100 GEL.  
• The total limit for contactless card payments without PIN verification is 600 GEL, regards of transaction dates.

From 1 May, PIN verification will be required for the very first contactless debit/credit card payment on the Georgian territory regardless of the transaction amount once the sum total of the contactless previous transactions reaches 600 GEL. After PIN  verification, the calculation of the 600 GEL total limit will start anew and each subsequent payment will be authorized according to the rule set out above.

The above-mentioned rule does not apply to payments made using a digital wallet (Google pay, Apple Pay, TBC Wallet), as well as payments at public transport and parking self-service checkout terminals
