You do not need an initial deposit to start saving and following deposits can be as low as 10 units of your chosen currency.
Child Deposit enables you to save money for children until they reach adulthood. This deposit does not have a fixed deposit schedule.

Other terms
- Account opening and transactions are free of charge.
- The initial minimum deposit is not required!
- Further required deposits are as low as 10 USD/EUR/GEL/GBP;
- The number and the maximum amount of deposits are not restricted.
- The minimum required period is 2 years;
- The maximum term may be until the child reaches legal adulthood age.
- Besides the cash operations, you can make additional deposits to the Child Deposit account via Internet Banking, Phone Banking, Mobile Bank and Transfers for more flexibility;
- Interest is accrued on the annual basis through a compound interest rate.
- The first interest will be accrued in a year after the account opening;
- In the event of premature cancellation, the deposit holder will receive 70% of the total interest accrued during the actual deposit period.

Deposits Insurance System
On 1 January 2018, the Bank joined the deposit insurance system designed pursuant to the Law of Georgia on Deposit Insurance System. All deposits/accounts held by individuals with any commercial bank, irrespective of the number of the deposits/ accounts, are subject to coverage by the Deposit Insurance Agency up to 30,000 GEL, while the remaining amount will be refunded in compliance with the rules envisaged by the effective legislation.
